I vibe with the orchestral pop of the Kate Bush - Hounds of Love, dope record. the Anna van haussewolff was one of my favorite records the year it came out, honestly ended up being top 10 that year, so sounds like you kinda underrank the record. lastly, I do enjoy the spacious and laid back vibe of vespertine, very chill record.

needs more Lisa Germano. also I thought alt-pop was a more modern term. when I think of it I think of Billie Eilish and Jean Dawson. I’d say Cocteau Twins and Kate Bush are moreso art pop.
