I became a fan of jpop when I went to Japan in 2000 and they had a Japanese Pop playlist on one of the audio channels on the plane. It reminded me a lot of this. I don't remember them all but one artist was Gackt-- they played 'Vanilla' on the plane. It's a great song.

Although I may not fully comprehend the lyrics, the music's bass, vibe, and tone make it truly captivating. However, when listening to songs in my native language, I find that there isn't a significant difference.
