I've watched this machine come and go in popularity over the decades, but it's safe to say it's now here to stay! And rightly so. Most people don't know how to activate their glutes. I had a client ask me how she could get rid of her #hipdips which is the day I learnt what that was and my short answer was, build glutes and I put her on this machine.

This is a great exercise to warm up with and for glute activation.
It is also beneficial at the end of your workout to finish with.
It's good any time really, it's all in the prescription and purpose.

Is there other ways of performing this exercise - YES
But again you need to know WHY you're doing it that way.
There are many sultry variations of this on the gram lol

Doing it this way and going only as heavy as your GLUTES can handle, will steer you in the right direction. Give it a try and let me know what you think :)

“You see people with the weight too high” and who are you to know if their weight is too high? People actually want to progress not sitting there sticking their chest out.
