Hi Simply Railway. They often downgrade older first class coaches to second class if they need more second one. This intercity IC category is often crowded if the train is going from Warsaw via Sochaczew and Łódź. The coaches with black window line and this type of interior are the latest version however many coaches are under going modernisation so they will look familiar. Thank for visiting Poland 👍.

I had the honor to travel in a similar coach like you, when the EC "Hortobágy" (it's route was Hbf. about 2 years ago, nowadays it goes to Záhony and Kyiv) ran with PKP cars. I loved them! They're clean, comfy, silent and can run fast.
I especially liked the dining car. I think that it was a Real dining car. I had a so delicious breakfast there.
So all in all, thanks for this video Simply Railway and thumbs up, Polish Mates!

Here, in Poland, we downgrade our 1st class cars very often. That's simply because we've too many of it and people here really prefer to travel as cheap as possible. So you see - your train had only 1 1st class which still had a few empty seats and about 8 crowded 2nd ones.

It's nice that you visited Poland. Our trains are changing, they are becoming more comfortable and more and more people travel on trains, We like Czech trains, and we often visit Czech Republic

I visited Poland in 2011 and walked by Warsaw’s Central train station. Should have gone in just to see how Wow looking it is! I see there’s a Rossman store which is like a Walgreen’s . Thank you so much for a superb video. Would love to see more train trips in Poland. 👏🏻👍🏻💖

A pity that this train had no restaurant car, so you couldn't have tried it. Hope you did on other rides in Poland, as the Polish WARS restaurant cars are literally the best in Europe and probably wider.

Warszawa Centralna is awesome. I never used it to go anywhere by train since I come to city by plane and bus from chopin, but I always use it to cut crossing streets and dodge bad weather upstairs lol. walk from one end of a platform to another and you crossed half of the central town XD

Did you know, the locomotive is actually one which is based on a British design, which we called Class 83. The model before it PKP EP06 was even built in Britain!

The intercity trains are very often full, especially during the holidays. Once i had to sit on the floor for 2 hours before we got a seat. Also maybe you should visit Poznań Główny! Its very nice there

The polish trains is very clean safe and enjoyable ride plus they have a dinner car and sleeping car for the long trips. Polish crew are very friendly.
