I mean, Sabine gave her the Dark Saber because she did not want to become Great Mandalore and she's now trying to find Ezra with Ahsoka, also she had enough of her clan problems. I think, Bo Katan was the only option to guard that relic at that moment. Either way, Mandalore was a mess after The Clone Wars.

In my opinion Sabine is just like Tarre Vizsla because he was a jedilorian warrior and Sabine is a rebelorian one and they both were trained by Jedi plus it explains why Tarre is an ancestor of Sabine (also clan vizsla ofc) probably would be proud of her. Because since he was a Jedi all his clan after his passing were with the empire stealing his dark saber to rule mandalore. But still i hope to see Sabine in the future holding the dark saber to gather the clans and houses or an army and then she can return it back to the rightful ruler but i don’t know how it’s gonna go yet becaus maybe Sabine finds the dark saber to keep it for herself or with the help of huyang and the force create a new one, it would be cool and especially having the dark saber back. Even if Sabine isn’t ruling mandalore she will always be my favourite . She is respectful, powerful, a rebel, she always cares for others and all of her qualities that other mandalorians don’t possess. She deserves to wield the dark saber as much as Bo-katan does. I wonder how she would react from the blade being destroyed by moff Gideon… but i believe it will return. (this is my opinion btw)
