I went for the C9 (arriving tomorrow!). For three main reasons. OLED presents a more natural picture to my eyes. I’m a regular gamer and the C9 has it all for gaming. Lastly, HDR. The Q90R is definitely brighter. But by brightening the whole screen. Although the C9 has a lower light output, the peak whites appear brighter as the bright areas are much more targeted/accurate in the context of the overall image.

All a matter of personal taste, of course. Thanks so much for helping me make my decision.

Btw, would be great to have a basic settings guide for these two TV’s.

Excellent comparison and review. I was close to buying micro LCD/nano until I came across videos like this one. I have had my old Samsung lcd for twelve years and it's still working perfectly! I hear a lot of people saying get rid of your TV'S in four to seven years I would expect to get longer than that out of a TV that I'm going to spend 2000-3000 on! I'm a gamer and a movie watcher and I'm worried about burn in on OLED screens so I'm leaning QLED!

i noticed in seconds in the difference in clarity before you mentioned which one was which. There's just no beating OLED. Even an 8k QLED tv can't beat a 4k OLED in clarity.
