For couple of factors.
No burn-in
i have a bright room. I like a brighter image.
Wall mounting with the awesome one box!

I have had the LG C7 this whole time and have no burn in. I watch everything from Twitch to music streaming on the tv.

Perfect example of how important black levels are. Go to 3:40, Samsung is grey in the shadow on the mountain and black on OLED

"Small risk of burn in" and how small is it 5 years into owning it? How much brightness has it lost, especially seeing it isn't that bright to begin really would like to get an Oled but I really don't like buying disposable products, a tv should last as long as you want to keep it for.

If it wasn't for burn in I would go OLED, if you watch a lot of content with static images it's not a good choice. Mine started to get Burn in within two years I have the LG C7, I had to put it in my room and went and bought a Samsung Q80R. The nice thing about QLED is that I don't have to worry about any of the OLED issues.

E9 is an amazing display.. but this was a really biased comparison.. Those black levels on the QLed were deliberately messed up to look like a 2009 Lcd.

Just the thought of having a screen that could suffer burn in switches me off, I’d go QLED Samsung

I just ordered a 65" E9 to replace my B6. My B6 has no burn-in and is still just as bright (haters will say I'm lying), it will be going into my 3-year-old's room.

I bought an LG b8 not to long ago and it's amazing. To be honest. Was open to going for qled next or basically whatever one has the best picture, but I would love the LG e9. It looks amazing slot nicer than last year's model. If or when I've the cash I'll be going for the LG e9.

Is the E9 better than the C9 then? And how do you feel about the whites on lg oled...they always look a bit blue tinty?
