I'm 46 hours into the game and I just can't get enough of it. Going straight into NG+ right after my first playthrough.

This game has so many great game elements put into 1. You got god of war, devil may cry, asuras wrath and that final fantasy touch all in one with 4K graphics an outstanding soundtrack and story. Overall this is one of my favorite video games ever as well.

I started playing the Final Fantasy series when FF3 released on the Snes. I have played them all and I have to say...I agree with him. FFXVI is absolutely incredible!

The demo absolutely sold me. The writing is a bit cheesy but I was totally into it. This is going to be my first ever FF game and I’m stoked.

If this game had the exploration and complexity of building your parties skills (along with a huge variety of skills and spells) it would be perfect.

I like the pacing but there isn’t anything really to do or look for so your basically just running from red mark to red mark chasing the story.

There isn’t anything to do or dwell on try or mix up in terms of fear, weapons items combat weaknesses etc

FF 7 & 8 made fall in love with the franchise, FF 10 is the first in completed, and 7 remake brought me back again. So, I couldn’t miss 16 on my collection, cuz 16 is epic. The music keeps u tight to ur joystick, cuz that’s how addictive it is

Final Fantasy 16 is legitimately one of the greatest games I've ever played it is flat-out Criminal how this game did not get nominated for game of the year yet somehow Spider-Man 2 did. ( I'm not hating on Spider-Man 2 but it had a lot of problems and it definitely did not deserve that game of the year nomination over Final Fantasy 16.)

Ive never been a FF guy, I tried 13 or 15? Which ever one had you pushing the car in the desert lol
And I liked that the combat moved to real time because I’m not a huge fan of turn based. But I watched Andy play the first hour and a half of this FF and I got emotional just seeing how beautiful this game is and how great the combat looks and even the characters are likable. I’m giving this FF a chance because it has sold me on it. I didn’t even realize how into the story I was until I realized it’d been over an hour and I was just sitting here watching it like a movie. I’m in.

They didn’t make a Final Fantasy game. They made a God of War game with some FF references sprinkled in.
If you’re into action games like God of War then you will love this game.
But if you are a long time Final Fantasy fan who likes RPGs then I doubt you will like this game.
This guy said that it brings in a modern audience and also is for the long time fans. That is factually incorrect. They only seem to care about people who like action games now. They just reach into the longtime fans pocket’s occasionally with remakes of the beloved classics.

I think the only Final Fantasy game I will ever try to platinum. I love it so much.
