Blackberry APOCALYPSE Gets SHUT DOWN!!! Stihl FS-561C Clearing Saw #satisfying

Today we are taking on this property where the blackberries just went wild. About 1/6th of this property was overgrown with blackberry bramble and the new owner needed it gone as it was hindering all of his plans.

With our new Stihl FS-561C clearing saw we were able to make absolute light work of all of this mess. The machine is a huge upgrade from the Stihl FS-460 and it really shows. We were able to slice through the blackberries more efficiently and were able to clear a lot more on a single tank of fuel.

I guarantee every blackberry plant will grow twice as fast and tall within a year.

Personally, I would tackle that with a 5ft topper on a small tractor. Nice quiet job done sitting down with no need for ear defenders. Second choice would be a BCS740 with a flail on the front.

Wow! It’s almost like you had a motocross with a mulching blade attached. Serious power. Thanks for the video.

Great video, would have loved to see the cleanup process and how to stop them from coming back.

Wow! New owner is going to have to clear the entire top layer from all those roots. What a wild transformation!

Great job. You convinced me. That's the work I do several times a year with a Stihl FS300. Your machine looks like a great improvement. I will buy one. Thank you

It is insanely satisfying to watch on 4x speed 😂
Would love to see the next steps taken to prevent them from returning

Damn those home owners must have been stoked to have their yard back! Lots of work to get it green and grass but atleast they have a huge step done. Good job!

Those things are nice but sometimes I like using a hedge trimmer to cut saplings and briar thickets. With the hedge trimmer you can go in a sweeping motion and just fly through it with a much wider cutting path. The downside to the hedge trimmer is after awhile, it can start hurting your back. On steep hills, mountain sides, the hedge trimmer works so well. I like the bladed weed eater as well.

Good job for the brambles but there will be crown roots ready to sprout about 6 to 12 inches underground that need to be cleared as well. A site that big will need a backhoe, and then the landscape fabric/cardboard and mulch layers on top. In three years the crown roots should finally be dead and you can grow things in the yard. Good luck!

That was insane! 😆
I've never seen anything like it. And in a garden!
Did the owners notice any difference? 😂

as soon as the tips of the blackberry plants stick up, the owner should rent a small herd of goats to eat down the regrowth and fertilize the block.

Great transformation of the overgrown yard. You made it look totally normal again. You’re the best, Dave. See you on the next! 🙂👍🇺🇸

I own FS 460 CM and tbh that has plenty of power. What I would rather see Stihl do is make their trimmers lighter and quieter.

I am tempted to buy one of these now to handle bird berry that often regrows on cleared land...

Use it in a sweeping motion from side to side . Just like a scythe. It will be far more effective.
