How to reduce space between lines in Word

Sometimes, no matter what you do, you can't remove the extra space between lines in Word. Because there is a trick to reduce space between lines in word but once you learn it, it'll be easy. In the home tab, under paragraph section, there is an option called line and paragraph spacing. If you would click on it, then you can easily change the space between lines by reducing the number. Remember to select all the lines first. However, sometimes reducing the numbers is not enough because there is a space before and after paragraph. So, if you have pressed enter between lines, then Word thinks that you've entered a new paragraph, that's why it'll add an extra space for the paragraph. So, in order to get rid of additional space between lines, you'd also need to delete the extra space of the paragraph by selecting remove space before paragraph or/and remove space after paragraph.

These tips were the obvious first tries, but they did not work for me. If anyone else finds this video and comment, here's what solved my problem: Under "Line Spacing Options" for Line Spacing select "Exactly" and then enter a smaller font size (or play around to find one that matches your situation) to reduce the extra space between lines.
