Bad Reasons why long nails are a turn-off:
1: Unsanitary: Bacteria accumulates under them more. How do you wipe?
2: Indicates the girl is high maintenance and can’t do many things for herself. (Like the Chinese foot binding trend when women depended on men more because they couldn’t walk well)
3: Scary looking. I don’t wanna get my eye accidentally poked

There's something that women do that I wouldn't ever do, but I understand because they look aesthetically appealing, like chockers, high heels, anklet, makeup.... but I don't understand for the life of me why they put those out of place, crooked, and witch like long nail.

Men need to stop policing every fucking thing we wear! I'm glad my husband isn't like this, been together for 18 years, married for 16, I've had my hair cut, dyed, weaved and wore wigs and my nails were long too, not now because of my job and I have 10 tattoos and my husband never complained about it. I recently asked him why other men police what women wear and he said it's because they want to judge a book by its cover instead of getting to know who the woman is. Just she's wearing colored, shaved, weaves and wigs doesn't mean her inner person is crap. She can be that good, loyal, intelligent woman you're looking for and you letting her outside looks getting in the way of you really getting to know her as a person. No my hubby isn't a simp, he's very alpha male, a leader and he's worth submitting to, the only thing he doesn't want me to do is dress provocatively in public and I was raised by my parents to respect myself and love myself, but I do dress provocatively for him in our bedroom. We want each other to be happy.

I can tell you one thing is true: if a woman has those long pointed claw like finger nails, she’s probably either just being trendy and is oblivious as to how they look awful, or she wants to look all “fierce” and stabby like a witch queen. I think they make a girl look like a street walker.

The best finger nails? Clipped and filed, not chewed down, clean (unless she’s a farmer), and generally not calling attention to them. Some subtle polish is good if you must have polish.

Toe nails? Just dint let them grow out and get yellow and nasty

I'm a woman and possibly agree with the nail shape attributing to personality for sure however color thing is stupid. I wear all kinds of colors depending on what I'm about to wear for my mood for the week.
