If anyone having customization issues … Change your lock screen to any iOS 18 lock screen or weather lockscreen and the customization option will definitely works (after that you can go back to your personal Lock Screen again) now customization option will always work.

Those are updates that could be done throughout the year like releasing 🆕 and tweaking how each app icon looks. If they’re not busy on a Thursday in October that’s something that could be done and released as an update. What we’re wanting is actual updates of the operation of the software.

My iPad Pro 2018 1TB isn’t even 2 years old, after 17.5.1 updates, it only has 4.5hrs screen on time. Thank you Apple, this will be my last Apple product!

I have iOS and iPadOS 18 betas installed, but using it make me want to go back to iOS 17. And not because of stability and battery life (even though there are problems with that). The reason is that all changes they made this year seems to be for worse. I think, that I might skip iOS 18 on my devices and devices of my family and we will wait for iOS 19. Maybe then apple will fix Vista like design mistakes they made planty of this year.
I will wait to the next beta, but if it stays the same, it’s not worth it.
And apple intelligence most likely will come with iOS 19. They announced it now, but it says that first betas will be in fall. It will need more than half a year of testing, so out of beta will be summer next year. With that, they will wait for September event.

I needed over 16GB to update to beta 3 from beta 1 on my iPad. The same was true for beta 1 to beta 2, that’s why I skipped beta 2 on my 64GB (so 17GB for me and 47 for caches and system etc.) iPad.

Not calling names but Apple engineers need new leadership and direction of actually providing change and not getting everyone excited over moving a button and decreasing the bezel by .0006 over last year and increasing the overall size by .00034. Oh and don’t forget that snazzy new color. Be a leader on things that actually matter. Get a group of users and start an advisory board that can truly effective change.

Please just give us hypervisor support for virtual machines. It was on 16.3.1 and earlier
