The Conservatives claim Brexit has enabled the UK to leapfrog a number of other countries to become the fourth biggest exporter in the world.

Part of the issue is politics is driven by sound bites. Even the debates have been very quick-fire.

It encourages basic, elementary answers that do not go into enough detail. It also makes it easier for politicians to make misleading claims like Sunak did…
