Bob, Paul and the team - your programme has got me through hard times and elevated good times - it's a pure joy. It's the best thing the Beeb have done for many years. Each episode is a work of art, a soothing balm to the troubles of life, an ode to friendship and nature and of course, contains at least two laugh-at-the-screen moments (often more!). I always laughed hard at/with you both as a teenager, and now get to enjoy this golden dusk in my middle-age!
Please don't stop making it.
I teach foreign students and use clips in class, not only for examples of language, but also to show them the real beauty of these islands - they all love it! The most common question I get asked is, 'Is Paul Bob's son?'

I love this. I don't fish, but I love being out and about in the countryside. And when I'm feeling a bit diwn, I put on your show and it cheers me up no end. I am a Cumbria lass now living in Sweden and I do miss the the fells. Have you thought about fishing Buttermere, Crommock or Lowswater. I think you would be pleasantly supprised. Great pubs too!
