Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon | New Features And Improvements

Linux Mint have just released their latest version, 20.1. In this video I go over some of my favourite new features of their Cinnamon version. Some of these new features include improvements made to the Cinnamon desktop and the Nemo file manager. I also go over some of the new applications included in this release such as the Web App Manager and the IPTV player Hypnotix.

I installed yesterday the mint cinnamon 20.1 and I am satisfied :-)
Linux is other as the windows series, for the browsing the web is very safe, you can to accept it for simply and complex features too. My favourite is the dual boot with an old windows version... Good video. Greetings from Hungary

new linux user here, i used pop os and it worked fine, currently testing linux mint and i find it to be a little bit more smoother

Will they ever make the upgrades like they were were you can just use the manager to upgrade from one version to the next newest one? I had a lot of trouble trying to upgrade to the latest version as I'm still kinda a newbie to the terminal method. Coming from Windows - I would like to see a way that you can just click and install.

linux mint 20.1 is very great, made from the gods or something. It's reliable as hell and with flatpak or snap I can use newer software if I need it.

Interesting stuff. Hypnotix might have had the pull to get me to switch back to Linux Mint, except for one thing. I'm running MX Linux with the Cinnamon DE added on. I had no trouble at all going to github and installing the Hypnotix package on MX 19.3. Works great.
