In this video I offer up some thoughts on choosing the right slide for electric guitar. I take a close look at the necessary measurements and how to get a good fit —then go on to make some brand recommendations before ending with some sound samples. The video ran a little longer than expected, one of the perils of not having a script! I also refer to ‘Diamond Slides’ throughout, when in fact they're called ‘diamond bottlenecks’ — never mind, you know what I mean.
