All for someone who has one of those faces that looks like you can't trust. If she was just a follower and not a person in charge, there's a chance she wouldn't have any jail time. Mack's performance as Chloe was very well received; I was even impressed! I didn't even notice she was already involved in the cult early on during Smallville's lifecycle.
Although I don't agree what she did was the best for her ilfestyle, however, I do hope she finds a better hobby to fulfill her empty voids and urges now that she's discharged earlier than expected.

I don't think serving a long or life sentence will solve her problem. It won't make her better. You want to punish, and I understand that need. But I think it's inappropriate for the situation. It just doesn't make sense to me. It seems like it won't do anything useful in my opinion.
Edit: btw, I think she was probably codependent and wanted love and acceptance and she was blind to the truth in the pursuit of that. But I also think her issues go much deeper than that. I think they are much more nuanced than we would possibly like to believe. I am not defending her actions AT ALL by saying this. This is a really simple but emotionally loaded comment, so I understand why someone would be led to make assumptions about me based on what I just said. But please, re-read, and then read again.

She probably still has money and can enjoy life. I don't think the punishment fits the crime in this case. She did the crime and then snitched and then got rewarded for it and got the sympathy of the court.
