This is a gorgeous scene. The bird had been trying to get to this high point since his wing was broken. Maybe he knew his time was ending and this was the place. And if you noticed, he was whole again as he flew to the Heavens. His cat friend wanted to go too but it wasn’t his time. The gift of true friendship is priceless and eternal

This scene literally destroyed me when watching as it hit a raw nerve. I lost my mother a week ago to cancer and being with her at the end, this scene really brought me to tears in ways I can’t even process. Well, this and the very ending of the movie even moreso 😭

i broke down crying at this scene. 🥺💔 I lost my partner of 20 years to brain cancer at only 42 almost 3 years ago and the scene triggered so many emotions on the loss and after life now being alone…..

In all of my life, i have never really cried to a movie or even a song. Don't get me wrong, there are a LOT of movies and songs which have shaken me to the core in the most deep ways, and which have made me feel that odd sensation in your throat when you're about to cry, but never to the point of tears. This one scene is the exception. I haven't lost any dear ones recently or anything like that, but there is something about this scene which just makes my eyes shed tears. I do not know why or how, but it just does it, and I love it. And that is why i will hold this movie near and dear to my heart.

This is methaphoric goodbye from friend, parent, whatever. You can see a bird who lost hope to fly and everything it wants is just to pass away into to last flight into the sky. Same is when your relatives is too old and sick, and they lost will to live. Last hope for them is a new life, without struggle and pain. Cat just wanted to say goodbye, but he/she not yet lost hope to escape and wanted to live so he turned back.
