I got to see it and enjoyed it. It was atmospheric, often beautiful and had moments of real wonder.
The CGI quality is clearly not state of the art in 2024, but I didn't care after a couple of minutes.
I don't want to overhype it, because then people will just be disappointed that it isn't better than Miyazaki (it isn't) but it was a good experience, and the conclusion was simple, but very fitting and satisfying.

Don't miss the after credits scene.

Great movie! My kid who is a huge Ghibli fan, was blown away and very emotionaly impacted by this masterpeace.

Saw it @TIFF Premiere. 84 Minutes of no dialogue with eye popping visuals, heart pounding music, it is an incredible piece of cinema. If #WildRobot can be beaten this year at the Academy Awards, it will be this film

It made me cry and I had to keep myself from crying most of the time... As the story was told in the most beautiful way and you could feel those animals' pain, sorrows, happiness, etc. perfectly well!

I could tell that so much time was done inspecting and studying all those animals and their behavior.

I'd recommend it to all animal lovers and cat people...
