This is a quick demonstration and explanation for how the rings around a planet like Saturn form. However, there are rings around each gas giant and one day, there may even be rings around Mars and one of its two moons has a decaying orbit. This is what's called the Roche Limit, it's an invisible boundary that if anything big enough gets to close to, it will crumble to pieces and most likely secure an orbit around said planet, creating a beautiful ring system. Every planet in the Solar System and possibly the universe has a Roche Limit.
