I miss margaery. She was a brilliant manipulator but never had to be cruel to get what she wanted. And god, Sophie is so good here.

it's actually heartbreaking how Sansa starts tearing up at the end.. she hasn't had anyone be that kind to her in such a long time :(

I love when Margaery says that breathy conspiratorial line: "We would be sisters, you and I, " and Sansa almost tears up in joy

This is why the Tyrells are (were) my favorite house. Most other houses, except the Starks, when grabbing power are like "crush the small guy and murder my enemy" while the Tyrell power grabs are "feed the poor and make people want me put in power, make them think it was their idea." They're still grabbing power but in a way that makes the world just a little better at least.

it makes me so sad that this didn't work out.
Seriously it was a good plan...

Sansa's face at the end is heartbreaking. The thought of her escaping the Lannisters and marrying her idol Loras, it sounds too good to be true. It looks like she's coming close to tears. And while I know the Tyrells were just trying to get Sansa's claim to Winterfell, I think Margaery did actually did genuinely care about Sansa, despite her being a good manipulator.

Sophie Turner was amazing in this scene. It takes true talent to portray the relief and happiness that follows years of physical, emotional and psychological torture. Brilliant.

I really feel she means well..She wants to win, but really she wants to be her friend too. And wants to keep her safe too

I love that Margaery is a schemer and a snake, but never turns on Sansa. I think she genuinely liked her very much.

Margaery might've been using Sansa to give the Tyrells a better claim to the North, but I can also tell that her kindness towards Sansa wasn't fake. I believe that Margaery truly did feel bad for Sansa for all the shit she's experienced and just wanted to help the poor girl

This scene is fucking beautiful. I thought Sansa was going to break down in tears of happiness at the thought of escaping the Lannisters and Joffrey, becoming a Tyrell and married to her idol

Scenes like this make me so goddamn sad that Margaery is dead. She and her family seemed like some of the already very few genuinley good people on the whole show.

This scene right here is just downright adorable. Sansa finally has someone who genuinely cares for her.

I remember how much I hoped it would happen, that Sansa would marry Loras, then she would have some peace, oh how wrong I was!

I don’t doubt for one second that Margaery had real fondness for Sansa, but her skill in manipulation is honestly incredible. Everything she does is to further her goal of being on top, and if you’re not looking you’ll completely miss it. She wants to be THE queen, unchallenged. And while she’s providing comfort to a young girl she obviously truly adores, she’s also securing a very powerful marriage for her house. “Sansa stark is the key to the north”. I just love how Margaery’s character was able to manipulate almost any situation to her benefit, but she never used cruelty or violence. Most of her manipulations were actually truly kind, like this scene. Fucking LOVE her

I hope that we get a reaction from Sansa when she learns Maegrey died. I don't want that to be something that's glossed over.

I love how she manipulates everyone but it looks like she actually likes Sansa. She and her mother really care for her and just want to help her. They would be so proud if they knew how strong she became.

Even though gaining power in the North is a strategic choice, I think that Margaery truly cared for Sansa. She genuinely wanted to free her from the Lannisters, just like when she used to visit the poors. Yes it was a political move, but she actually wanted to help and make them feel better.
That is why I love the Tyrells. Even though they are manipulative, at least they gain power because you chose to give them power, not because they forced you, or threatened you.
