UPDATE- Haven't seen it mentioned so if this is old news forgive me, but I went to a Goodwill near my house today and found many books about survival, cooking and camping outdoors, canning and preserving, and even suburban gardening. Most books were between $1.99 and $4.99. If any community members need to learn new skills, this might be a cheap way to gain knowledge.
