Five minutes high pressure, 5 minutes natural release, then QR, then ice bath until cool. Peel with a jar. Perfect every time!

To make hard boiled (large size)eggs, I set my instant pot on manual for 8 minutes then did a quick release. I also immerse them in ice water right away but does not matter to me how long they stay in the water. I use 1 cup of water for just a few eggs. If doing a large batch, (and I stack them) I put in about 1 1/2 cups of water, but I'm not sure that it matters putting in the extra water.

I use 1 cup of water and the "Egg" button (that is 5 minutes) and then NR for 2 minutes then QR and into ice water. They peel OK but not any different than when I was stove top cooking them then tossing them in the dry pan till cracked all over. I also set my trivet on a stand that is about 1 1/2 inch tall to get the eggs a bit farther from the very hot bottom. Now I don't have green outsides to my yolks.

I cook my eggs for 4 minutes with the egg setting, quick release and done! If I leave them longer the yolk comes out
darker.

I just use the simmer option instead of the microwave. I think it might heat the water just as fast as the microwave.

Why did you say don’t stack the eggs? Two other videos said you could put 2 dozen and you have to stack. Just saying😊❣️ thank you for sharing, your so kind💫👍🏻

I use 1 cup of water. I cook them for 5 minutes, and then let them release pressure for 5 more minutes. I then remove them from the instant pot and put them in ice water. After the pressure is released and I open the lid on the instant pot, I always have at least 3 to 5 eggs severely cracked and pretty much blown up. What gives. I can't imagine cooking them for 10 minutes.

I cook my boiled eggs for 6 mins on high pressure, natural release for 6 mins & a ice bath for 6mins.

I use 5 minutes and it comes out pretty dearly perfect.

I only use four ounces of water because the time is so short, and using less water means it pressurizes faster.
