Dell UEFI BIOS Update from Bootable USB within the UEFI BIOS Boot Menu

Показать описание
Updating the Dell BIOS using a FAT32 Formatted USB Flash Drive from within the BIOS Boot Menu. This is useful if you don't already have an OS on your Dell or are running a different OS such as Linux which can't run the BIOS Update because it is an exe file. I demonstrate creating the USB both with Windows 10 and Ubuntu. Note this feature is only available for newer Dell Hardware with a SMBIOS Version of 3.0 or higher manufactured in Late 2015 or afterwards.

Written Guide:

If you have an older Dell with a SMBIOS of 2.5-2.9 you should be able to create FreeDOS Bootable USB and use that to update the BIOS:
