Last part is totally real. In fact Las Vegas sets up trap “speeding” zones to get money from unsuspecting tourists. My Dad got caught in the trap where the zone was in a place where you can’t see the cops camped out there. They were ticketing everyone even if they were going at the speed limit. What the sly police did was reduced the speed in that zone and was targeting cars who were turning into that street their trap zone was in. They couldn’t see the reduced speed of that zone. Since many of the people they ticketed were tourists they, like my Dad couldn’t dispute it in court. He had to watch some stupid video on road safety and pay the fine online when he and my Mom came home from their trip. It’s robbery I tell you. And they wonder why people don’t trust police anymore. 😒

Not only does it prove you recieved the ticket, its also stating you attend to appear in court for it

Here in California tickets underneath them have something like "signing this document is not an admission of guilt"

Just fight the ticket in court people. Whatever initial date they give you, if you ask nicely to reschedule they'll usually listen and the 2nd date is less likely to have the cop able to appear. Usually the judge will strike the ticket

Ill never forget a friend of mine dodged a ticket in another state and was surprised when he got a warrant for arrest. He really thought leaving the state would just erase the ticket.

signing is a bail bond, knowing how to sign it contract law, , that can dismiss it without doing anything, they can remain 5 years on the record to be removed, , , a ticket is misdemeanor, , extradition if you have too many from that state or have a civil matter, like child support, damages tort law, ,
