Tips for keeping rain barrels mosquito free

A couple of tips to stop your rain barrels becoming breeding grounds for mosquitoes and midges

Open rain barrels will attract dragonflies and frogs will lay their eggs making a bumper crop of tadpoles that feast on mosquitos. Discovered that this year when I was wondering why I had so few mosquitos with many open barrels and then I found the tadpoles which had never before gotten into my barrels. !!!
