For this video my PC has Windows 10 and Fedora is installed in an UEFI Dual Boot.

====================================

# IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING

# * The Procedure in this Video only applies to PCs with UEFI Firmware. Therefore, it will not work on a PC with Legacy Firmware. If you don't know your PC's Firmware type, you can check that in System Information, under System Summary in BIOS Mode.

# * Please be careful when deleting your Linux Partitions in Disk Management. And be double sure that they are your Linux partitions before deleting them.

# * Also, As of Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703), Command Prompt has been replaced by the PowerShell in the Win+X menu. So, to access Command Prompt, type "cmd" in Search and then Right Click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator".

I've been searching for this solution for 3 months with no success, YouTube search results lead me down a very frustrating path. Today by some odd chance I stumbled on this video, it's been the only video that helped me get rid of the grub menue. Thank you so much

... Thank you very much kind stranger!
I used to duo boot Linux Mint and decided to remove it leaving only Win 10. Deleted my Linux partitions from Win disk management and then kept running into the same issue "access denied" again and again when I tried to remove my Linux grub... No luck with bootsect /nt60 sys either...
The important difference for me was to access my ubuntu folder via disk > partition rather than disk > vol as suggested in many Linux forums... For some reason access was granted here. I am no expert but I hope this piece of info helps anyone out there that has a similar issue.
So for anyone that also has a "access denied" error with other tutorials, this one worked for me!

I kept seeing ubuntu as bootup option even after uninstalling and disk cleanup. But after following the steps as mentioned, it was removed. Thumbs up!!

Recommending that someone delete a partition without knowing for sure what it is is BAD.
