Thank you so much, Ken! I am a Salem resident and a busy tour guide now that we are in the busiest month. I have also worked at the Corwin House in the past. Many tourists think of it as a "spooky" house instead of a historical one. We have lots more interesting houses here in Salem (and Danvers, the former Salem Village), and I hope you can spotlight some other houses in the area.

I am an Ohioan and two of my siblings went to the University that is in Springfield Ohio. It breaks my heart to see a group of people who helped improve the town be villified like they have been. There are still modern day lessons to be learned from the Salem witch trials. Thank you Ken!

Been a few times to The House of the Seven Gables - which I believe is a 20 min walk from this house. Salem is a great destination and an important cautionary tale - what with the most literal of the bannings and cancellations still on today.

Thank you for sharing the historical aspects of the Salem witch trails. What a sad misunderstood time in history that should have never happened the way it did. Individuals not knowing anything but very harsh judgement of others. This has been an ongoing situation throughout American history.

Salem is a great place to visit, been there many times. Just park your car, almost everything to see is walking distance.

Mary Perkins Bradbury, was convicted, condemned to be executed but manged to escape. It is not known how she escaped the noose. Maybe it helped that she was the mother of 11.

Your wrap up at the end of the video was a tasteful commentary in regards to our current situation. Way to make the past relevant!!! I appreciate your time and creativity.

Oh my...get this...I was sitting next to an acquaintance in church and at the conclusion we had some superficial talk and "somehow" we got on this topic and quickly discovered one of his direct relatives was killed as a witch in Salem and one of my direct relatives had been a judge!! Creepy coincidence?? or...He didn't seem anywhere as astonished as I was..
for som reason. 😨😨😨😨😨

Thank you for an interesting video! My 9X great grandmother, Susannah North Martin was sadly one of the women unjustly hung as a witch.

A timely subject in more ways than one. This looks like a great museum. I read about the Salem Witch Trials when I was about 12 years old. I believe one theory is that the girls were suffering from ergot poisoning; a fungus that had hallucinogenic properties had infected the grain, and they had eaten bread made from it. Superstitions where also common at the time; now it's conspiracy theories. The black facade of the house is certainly a stand-out.

Horrible this happened to innocent people. It's getting like this kind of panic currently. All the hate in the world

Ken have you ever researched the witch trials in CT?

Seems like a nice looking house. I’d say Garrison or Post-medieval English.
