Yea idk if this is comedy or not cause I have no context. But the witch trials were not really about witchcraft. People used “witchcraft” as an weapon to imprison and punish other people. For instance, if my neighbor owes me money and won’t pay, I just accuse them of witchcraft and done deal. It’s really hard to believe that witches were real

In the New American Colonies, there was the opportunity of practicing religious freedom, this includes multiple religious groups that include; alchemy and science, sorcery, masonry, demonology and witchcraft form Europe and other locations. Even still they're practices would include obscurity from newly defined civilization locations, while simultaneously a citizen of those colonies, and acting there of as a regular citizen. It is true interrogation and decesed of innocent citizens were incorporated, but does not define fully that it did not exist. I would enter the proposition of not of direct witchcraft, but the newly defining of establishing organization of they're religion or practice; meaning it was not meant to be a open practice. This leads to specialized quiet societies groups organzing into obscurity. the type that require oaths of secret operation of practice of the spiritual in opposition to main stream religion. It shows no physical proof because it is spiritual heretical belief system. Mostly it is derrived from far east and ancient Egyptian: picked up from masonry, for those whom had the wealth and opportunity to advance economically. It arises the question of who benefits from ancient societies...A digger of opportunity. This is just thoughtful opinion, but read between the lines, it encompases practice of every deviation in modern society today, and enfranchised from the past. Yes many innocent lives held in scapegoat to maintain obscurity of devilish practice. It is ignorant to avoid or disregard what one cannot percieve as real, when it has been lurking around the corner for centuries...that old practice.
