1. The one thing Americans need to understand is that historically Taiwan has been part of China, for example, just as Hawaii is a part of United States, how would Americans and most of the countries feel if China interferes and say Hawaiians want to be independent and is a country and not part of the United States.

You know Karma. Today US supports Taiwan independent. 50 years from now China supports California independent. That is why countries like Canada, Spain, UK stay away from the Taiwan Issue like the plague.
