I’ll take the MDX with a naturally aspirated V6. That says a lot…. I NEVER buy anything with a timing belt normally.

I love Acura but wish they would bring back the sports hybrid in the MDX and would offer a longer version of the MDX...maybe around 205" long. That would bring in more buyers who need the cargo space.

Toyota didn't do much to make the Lexus look any different from the Grand Highlander. The TX just looks like a top trim Grand Highlander.

I’m choosing the mdx, in my opinion the prices on the TX are just absurd. The tx may have some advantages in comfort, options, mpg but nothing is beating the look, feel and v6 of the MDX.

I like Lexus but the Lexus tx is just subpar.the exterior is good looking but the interior is just so dull. The Acura mdx looks so much better than the Lexus tx inside and out

If Acura makes the upcoming mdx as big as the pilot then it’s a no brainer. TX won’t be able to compete.

I really like Acura MDX, but I also really wish or hope it will have Touch screen(just move the screen forward towards the driver) and offers hybrid as an option in the upcoming mid cycle refresh. I will 100% upgrade my old Pilot to it if that happens. But sadly, I don’t think it’s gonna happen until at least next generation.

The lexus already looks dated. MDX almost has RWD proportions, a big plus. TX looks just like a dressed up Toyota Grand Highlander, bland, uninspiring.

tx is a ripoff. anyone thinking about it should just get the grand highlander because it's pretty much the same car.

Even though I like the TX design, from a practical POV, unless you're constantly moving 6 adult passengers around, the current markups on the TX make it a hard choice vs the MDX. Yes, it's 3rd row is a few inches bigger than the MDX, but if you're only moving children, the MDX is a better deal. Currently around me a TX 350 w/ luxury package is selling close to an MDX Type S. Which is crazy given the extra performance the Type S has over the TX 350.

Wouldn’t the RX be a more comparable vehicle? The TX is more of a between vehicle between RX and GX

Doesn’t matter what car you pick, Honda > Toyota. Honda feels nimble and has better driving dynamics. Lexus makes cars for rich grandmas. Acura is for younger more eager drivers…

If I only occasionally used the third row then MDX 100%. If I needed the third row often for someone older than 10 then TX the easy choice.

I have the MDX 22 tech. Removable middle seat, AWD system and pricing are strong points for MDX. I don’t like naturally aspirated v6 anymore. It’s noisy and lacks the torque. Horrible mileage especially if you are not driving on flat surface. MDX interior has way too many piano black plastics and then the touchpad. MDX is way cheaper compared to others in the segment.

I wish Acura would make a pickup out of the MDX like Honda did with the Ridgeline. A cool, sleek street truck.
