The fish is known as "Blinky". He's the patron saint of San Pedro, California.

"...except in case of accident"
Well, it just so happens that the Springfield's Powerplant's "X days since last accident" counter never reaches double digits.

maybe you are too young, but this was a refference to three eyed fish found in the waterways around a Nuclear Powerplant that was obviously leaking (in real life/ the headlines in 1988/9)

Fukishima dumped their storage into the ocean. How pristine was that??

React to "has redstone such rocket science" right now

HI, Elina. A wide statement about water never being radioactive is tricky. The secondary should not be radioactive; but at the very least the primary will ALWAYS be radioactive in operation, due to (n, p) reactions in Oxigen, and (n, g) in H (plus buffer solutions).

Might be a commentary on how badly maintained the system is that radioisotopes are leaking across the heat exchanger.

This gives the term _"fisheye lens"_ a new meaning...😉

Do you believe that significant amounts of radioactive waste that were released in the Mediterranean ocean and off of San Francisco should be of no concern to environmentalists? The Farallon Islands, about 30 miles west of the Golden Gate Bridge, and now considered a National Marine Sanctuary, was an original storage site of what was considered the largest amount of low and questionable radioactive waste until 1980. Environmentalists have even taught in public-school debate and critical writing classes that the area has been more radioactive than the Atomic Energy Commission has admitted. The Environmental Protection Agency seems to regard unusual devastating harm and genetic deformities to radioactive water emitted from the Farallon Islands. The French also had disposed of significant amounts in the
Mediterranean seas. Thank you for explaining triton—hydrogen with 2 extra neutrons, and how it exists in small quantities in our oceans.

Who cares about a little Tritium in the water.

Tritium? I always thought it would be fun to make tea with tritiated water. Stick it in a thermos and force it to boil itself.

I want to be a nuclear physicist so bad but I’m 18 and even know algebra and I don’t even know the first step of becoming a nuclear physicist I just feel so stupid all the time

I think they are insinuating that the reactor is dirty af and isn't a closed loop cooling system

Would you please make a video about the Fukushima waste water that Japan wants to release.
