I wouldn't say that the logo scared me as a kid,
But it does give you that feeling where you kinda can't look away,

and not in the good kind of way. That's the best way i can explain it....

i really miss 1980's television it was so much more real, you had to wait for each episode and the shows had much more substance

This logos my favourite and brings back memories growing up in Boston

The 12th variation (5:20) is the only one I truly find unsettling: the light, and especially the typical "electronic" sound, coming and going like that is what slightly gets me.






(Also WGBY Springfield must've really loved their second logo if they have used it for 18107 years!!)

So, WGBH has changed its logo for the first time in 46 years and removed the “W” from its on-air branding.

I was never afraid of the synth sound but it does tend to scare the hell out of you if it wakes you up in the middle of the night.
