WGBH Boston Compilation/History

This is a video I wanted to make on showing the oldest and newer versions of the WGBH Boston logo!

I deemed it is one of the oldest Television logos out there that started in 1971!

I faintly remember seeing this as a youngster, until someone pointed out seeing this from the show Arthur.

Keep in mind that any that references to channel 2 were only seen on local Boston TV while the "WGBH presents" is seen nationally, as WGBH is one of the largest producers of PBS content in the country.

3:42 That one is actually the music to Central TV from the UK back in 1982.

something about the high-pitched B&W version of the 1971 logo creeps me out more than the other versions, it's probably the high pitch and the random fade out at the end

This logo still plays to this day at the end of Arthur episodes. Just finished some a few minutes ago.

I remember seeing this all the time while watching the shows from the defunct PBS Kids Go! program as a kid

man, this is so nastalgic. I remember seeing this logo after watching pbs kids "Zoom" Such nice sound. forever ingrained back to a time when I had no worries. Love it. 😃

And here I thought that the DKP Studios logo was creepy but WGBH takes the cake, I still remember have Nightmares on both Logos when I was 5.

I remember seeing this logo at the end of Arthur episodes back when I was a youngin' in first grade. By the way, I've recently finished the script for two new (possibly questionable) SC Shorts, and Emily speaks in the both them.

Very confused to hear the Central Independent Television ident music at 3:42 especially on a non-international/national ident version

I used to love how computer-y and exciting this logo felt, the world was a wondrous place filled with mysterious technology to kid me, still applies to adult me somewhat

I grew up watching that logo since I watch Arthur, Martha speaks, Zoom, Peep, etc
