I made this last week. It was such an easy recipe to follow. No added preservatives.Tasted so good. Better than those supermarket Gelati.

I used whipped cream and condensed milk in a ratio of 3:1 (I had followed another recipe).
I whipped the mixture to a soft peak stage. In the end I found that there were still icy bits in my gelato, and it did not scoop very well.
I thus thought I had to whip the cream more till I got stiff peaks. Haven't tried that yet.

Looks good! I'm guessing the vanilla one could be used as a base for loads of different flavours too? I made your chocolate hazelnut one but couldn't get hold of baci so used dark ferraro rocher instead - so delicious!

It is ok to put some vanilla seeds into the mixture? I think it would be quite charming to have some tiny black dots in the ice cream :)

Nice recipe. just too sweet and too much calories for me though. I made half of the recipe and it is now gone. Now I don't want to be left alone with heavy cream and condensed milk on my fridge!! LOL

Terrible.... Its not gelato, maybe clotted creame or ice creme....thats the main thing never put so much creme in gelato...
