Stop Trying To “Find Yourself” - Do THIS Instead

These steps helped me massively to find myself 😊

The ONLY 4 Things You Need To Find Your Path In Life

In this fast-paced modern world, it's easy to feel lost and disconnected from ourselves. We're constantly bombarded with messages telling us who we should be and what we should do, leaving little room for self-discovery and introspection. But amidst the chaos, it's important to remember that finding ourselves is a journey, not a destination 🛣️

It's okay to take a step back and reflect on who we are and what we want. In fact, it's crucial for our well-being. When we take the time to understand ourselves, we can better navigate the world around us and make decisions that align with our values and goals.

Finding yourself is not about conforming to societal expectations or fitting into a specific mold. It's about embracing your unique qualities and finding fulfillment in your own way. It's about discovering your passions and pursuing them with purpose and enthusiasm.

In a world that often values conformity over individuality, it can be challenging to stay true to ourselves. But by cultivating self-awareness and self-acceptance, we can build a strong sense of identity that empowers us to make meaningful contributions to the world ✌️

So, if you're feeling lost or uncertain in this modern world, remember that you are not alone. Take some time to tune out the noise and listen to your inner voice. Embrace your strengths and quirks, and don't be afraid to take risks and explore new paths. Finding yourself is a journey that requires patience and persistence, but the rewards are immeasurable.

Remember to always prioritize self-care and self-compassion on your journey to self-discovery. You deserve to live a life that is authentic and fulfilling, and that starts with knowing and accepting yourself 🌱

Growing up in the mid 50's and 60's, I loved to ride my bike and play with the neighbor kids.

This is a very kind video, and I'm so glad I've found your channel. I feel like you're talking to me.

I'm 46 and continue to grow and learn each day. I didn't know I enjoyed flower gardening until I was about 31. I get so many compliments on my beautiful flower gardens and it brings me joy knowing those colors are bringing joy to those who see them! Besides that, I'm homeschooling my 10th grader, and he's taking Algebra 2. I absolutely hated Algebra in high school, but I'm challenging myself to re-learn the subject and possibly use it in my 50's something. Lol.

Probably won't need to use it, but it's another thing I can use to expand my mind.

Someday, I'd love to write a book. Otherwise, I enjoy living simply and taking one day at a time.

I enjoy these videos because it makes me feel like I'm not alone or crazy for having similar thoughts and ideas.

I love how I get emotional towards the end of your videos. You remind me that I should not be a finished project by any point and that I'm allowed to have a more fluid approach to life.

I experienced exactly what you mentioned about becoming an empty page in new places when I eat in the military in Cyprus (I am Greek and had a chance to serve in Cyprus so I did it). A few days after arriving there, for the first time in my life I felt my anxiety leaving my body and my mind being clear. I was sleeping well (ironically), I was full of zest and had a positive attitude whatever the day brought me. I left the depressed teenager I was back in my country and had a chance to reintroduce myself to others that didn't know my past and also prove to myself that there I am not eternally broken.

The day I came back home to Greece I just went back to my old "costume" and have been stuck ever since. I am looking forward to the day that I leave my home (home at more general sense, where I feel familiar and stuck) to see new places and reunite with my more free, light-hearted self ❤

That such a comparatively (still) small channel offers so much good content that is quite different from other channels...I like it more and more.

Hi Seve, it is easy to imagine that when you were 7 you were always trying to be kind and helpful to others around you. Your kindness to others is shown in each of your videos in that you are very supportive and encouraging to your listening audience. Sometime you should consider doing a Livestream where we could interact with you live.

Your video productions are so well crafted, with the juxtaposition of commentary and video clips (both homemade and not) seamlessly melded into videos that are both entertaining and informative. And, perhaps more importantly: your videos do good things to the world and to people. I loved both reading and nature as a child: I would read about many things, nature especially; then, go out into nature and explore as we were blessed to live surrounded by woods. I wished I ventured out now into nature more as I did as a child - perhaps your videos will the the required impetus this year to get me out of the house. Thanks, Seve, for all that you do. Oh, my 65-year-old sister who lives in Wisconsin says to tell you, "Hey!"

Great video with some great input, Seve! ☺ It's so interesting how our view of life changes as we get older. I also remember how the whole idea of only having one job your whole life was the "solution" and you just had to find something you like. I'm 28 now and have changed my career a couple of times already. I've noticed that the "Office-life" is definitely not for me. I'm more on the creative side so I love to see how many jobs there are in that field nowadays! Times are changing!  😀💯

Something, I find kind of creepy, I must have been 7 or 8 and, I remember telling my mom, I hate school, I want to be done with it! She said, "Well, legally you have to go until your 18 so, you have to get used to it!" I remember having visions in my head where my room was full books in my closet and my desks, and I was reading a thick textbook. Now, my room looks pretty much like that. Except, I never thought, I would enjoy being a student because, I certainly, didn't when, I was younger.

I think, a big part of it was getting used to routine, teachers that had faith in me, and finding more purpose in learning other than just getting a job to make money. I used to ask the "Why?" Questions when, I was younger and I was told it was to get a job. Or I would get in trouble for asking so, eventually, I stopped asking and just did when, I was younger. But as an adult, I ask myself, those "Why?" Questions again.
