I just recently started using Metform as I am working on my new portfolio site which uses Elementor., I have one question:

When we use a select dropdown in our form, how can we enable the option chosen by the user during submission to come through to the email we receive on our end? For instance I have tested a form I built, and the option I picked came through as a number, rather than option name.

Not quite sure what the free version adds to Elementor Pro (exept adding one more plugin), but the paid version looks very interesting. The real test for me would be a complex multistep form with quality conversion into CSV format or Google Sheets; I'll try this out. Thanks Paul.

MetForm plugin for Elementor I have a problem with forms because the e-mail from this form comes to the e-mail address I enter from the form, no matter what e-mail address I enter, the message does not reach me, only to the e-mail address entered in the form. Does anyone of you know how to solve this?

I always have issues with these forms hitting clients junk folder and they usually never reach the inbox for custom emails when clients use google workspace or office 365. Do you have any videos or tips on how to fix these issues.

I've added a 'upload a file' option in the form. When someone uploads a jpg, png or pdf file, I can access it from WordPress dashboard or email. But if someone uploads a word file (.docx), I can't open it from WordPress dashboard/email. How to solve it?

PS. In the upload file option, we can choose what file can a user upload. I've choosed .docx file but nothing is working.

Serious ADA issues with this plugin... When you select to hide the labels, the labels are removed on the frontend. This is not ADA compliant. Labels are always required in a form. The correct way to remove the labels and still be ADA compliant is to add a class to the labels which will hide the labels on the web page but are still visible to screen readers.

Also, when the message is shown at the top that the form was submitted, there is no aria-hidden attribute to indicate to the screen reader that this element is shown or hidden. The same goes for the form, but even worse. The form in the form wrapper doesn't show an aria-hidden attribute that the object is hidden, but it completely removes the form from the DOM.
