if you have a replacement with the protector for the non-plugon load center and you don't need the protector, can you simply remove the protector with a pair of pliers?

I heard somewhere the all-in-one breakers are electronic. What the heck. Sounds expensive!? My friends house has one of these PON panels and we dont know if it’s installed correctly. There no ground bar and the neutrals and grounds are all connected.

Those panels run to hot (temperature wise) with little to no load. What’s up with that. Over Engineering.

Spoke a lot and explain nothing. They do it this way to make you think it's hard so then you call an electrician.
