During this Glucagon Lecture, SM discusses the synthesis of glucagon. Glucagon is a small peptide hormone synthesized by the Alpha Cell in the Pancreas. Glucagon Half-life is about five to ten minutes. Glucagon is also known as a liver hormone. The glucagon gets releases when the plasma level of glucose is falling down. Glucagon work in the liver cell and promotes the process of Glycogenolysis and Gluconeogenesis.
