Ubisoft has announced that the next AC is going to be a new setting, new character, new time. But I like the sound of the French Revolution, while their could be a new protagonist, Connor could take on a more mentor role like Achilles did

the DLC took place during the events of the main storyline. they just got added by the animus after some memorys have been unlocked

These are my thoughts:

1.- I think you can only call upon wolves in the frontier, just like you can only call upon assassins in the city. You won't be able to call on your assassins in the dlc, but I hope you can call on your wolves after completing the dlc.
2.- The whole "power of the super animals" is all just symbolic, he's strong enough to kill a bear, fast enough to kill an eagle and ferocious enough to kill a wolf.

Awesome! I was speculating before the game came out that you'd get a wolf pet and they put it in the DLC! Nice.

I like Connors new costume it makes him look more like he comes from Native American heritage than the default assassin gear

It simply shows him holding the apple. leonardo also had the apple for 5 min when ezio asked him to see it. I would assume subject 16 would talk about it, like he does in most glyths.

The Novel covers some of the moments in game, but still, it would be pretty fun
