As an indian, yep these are the healthiest salad that we eat. You can also leave the dressing- just make it sprouts, lime/lemon, salt and some other spices (or just use chaat masala hehe)

An easier way is to wash them and place them inside a wet cloth and tie a knot covering it completely and hang them somewhere and keep sprinkling water every time it gets dry (roughly 6hrs) to the tied cloth lot with water for a day.

Just a heads up, sprouted lentils have a .... taste. Very earthy. You'll want to up your seasonings and sauces if you try this, but it is very nutritious

I am on my first batch. They tend to be sweet and delicious. I can't imagine how good they would be with an Italian dressing

I'm not as good about eating vegetables as I should be, although I have that 1 lb tub of spinach in my fridge because I can enjoy it fresh or cooked. So I'm getting back into sprouting and just started up my second batch of seeds after a few days. I figure if I'm lazy about cooking vegetables, and not much into salads, I can just Sprout stuff and get my vegetables that way. I have a salad mix of seeds so basically I'm growing myself a young salad.

Raw sprouts don't suit all. So, you could steam/blanch it for a gut friendly experience without losing nutrient value.😊
