I've had these before. Somehow my hair has gotten stuck behind my eye. It's actually not in the tear duct... it's just by it. You can feel it being pulled from behind your eye. It's the weirdest feeling.

Ive had tear duct plugs put in by the eye Dr and they don't look like that. They look more like a very tiny piece of rice.

its cotton there is one part there where you can see the seperation in fibres, hair dont seperate !

This looks like an old Asian practice for itchy, red, or irritable eyes. My mom used to do it. I’m not sure if I can explain it properly so you can understand it. But it’s pretty much a stand of long hair that is manipulated by rolling it back and forth, and eventually you let the strand of hair bind or wrap together. Then, you use that strand of hair, and you thread it into the eye duct. It’s supposed to help open the tear duct by removing any build up of debris that is causing the eye irritation.

I had something similar in the outside corner of my eye after facial reconstruction surgery. I shattered the entire left side of my face. I felt the suture every time I blinked. It was annoying AF.

I have to pluck these hairs out my eyes every other month. It is an auto immune response causing extra eyelashes and odd lengthy growth

OK first off I want to say that I’m not a doctor and I am not at all saying that this isn’t a hair but I have seen videos just like this, it may have even been this exact same video. It was part of a reaction videos, being done by an eye doctor. In the video they explained that it was most likely a buildup of gunk, like what most people call eye boogers. He stated that some people have large amounts of it that comes out in strands that look like strings. The doctor went on to explain that the reason it comes out, looking like a strand of hair since it’s black is because the person uses a lot of eyeliner and mascara that gets down in there, and essentially dyes the gunk black

It's a strand hair of hair twisted to make more sturdy so it can be easily drilled into the tear duct... many asian people do this ...some says it does give some satisfaction others says to clean it...its like cleaning your ear canal with swabs

Nah i have hair folicaes in my tear duct. They need to be removed monthly because itll block it up and cause puffiness and irritaiotion and the surgary to remove it is fucking insane

My uncle always has one hair sticking out from his lower eye lid. It's not that long...but it bothers him and causes eye iritation. I get that it's so annoying. Cause he complains all time about it...

ive seen this as a child... they take one thread of hair, twist it for increased tension, then thread it in the tear duct. the goal is to remove any debris. at least that's what i remember.
