I love his Back to Basics and appreciate this last series! His teaching has fed me for years! I have almost all his books.

My favorite sermon is the mother rowing upstream while everyone else in life floated downstream wondering why she was expending so much effort getting upstream!

My favorite saying of his has kept me on track - he said, “If bread goes up to $5, God will provide you $5.50 so you can tithe and buy a loaf of bread!” Everyone laughed at that because at that time none of us could imagine a loaf of bread going up to five dollars. As prices went up on groceries over the years, I always remembered that saying and I always thanked God for provision and He always provided. I still remember the first time I saw a loaf of bread for five dollars! I laughed because God does provide !!💕💕
