I've recently struggled with my identity with Christ. I thought of myself as a "leader for my generation", "Christian YouTuber", and even "evangelist". But God told me at the end of the day the most important identity of mine is a child of God. It's such a relief to know Jesus doesn't want us to follow religion, but to follow him and walk in his love and strength.

lately ive really been struggling with putting my identity in my feelings for a particular girl. recently god has been telling me that i just need to give everything to him and let him take control. that said, i don't really know how to give him my feelings. I end up just shutting them out which he has made clear to me isn't right. ive been single my whole life because of either fear or glaring issues that would make pursuing a relationship unwise. ive noticed that ive built large portions of my identity on the sand, not the rock of Jesus Christ (like the story from Matthew 7). having built my identity on sand, it shifts around too much, whether it be from my academics or my weight training or comparison to others that are "more successful" than me. I really need to spend more time in the word and in prayer, getting to know God and what he has in store for me.

I'm 16, in high school and I find myself struggling with having my identity in Christ. Often at school, I keep finding myself placing my identity in sports. I used to play football but I felt the Holy Spirit convicted me about placing my identity in football. Now I only do track since I still want to stay active but even with that sport, I find myself feeling like I have to keep up a persona of being a “track star” which has made my self-esteem go up and down at times depending on how I perform. Anyhow, please pray for me🙏

This has to be one of my favorite videos from you. Sometimes we get so caught up in titles we forget that we are called to Jesus first before called to anything else. Thank you for allowing God to use you as a vessel.

This is definitely something ive been struglging with, especially being exposed to people who just have that glow of christ like behaviour. Its been diffuclt as a 20 year old, my generation seems to be finding themselves in the strnagest of things, and i too found myself just saying "well im an artist i draw" and thinking that was better than how most people identified, but its still not christ, so i need to learn how to walk like that in my own time

It’s not what I think, what is important to me is that others see, feel and know that I am a disciple so that I may give God all the glory. I know that I don’t belong to myself. The presence of the Holy Spirit is in me, I’m confident of this that other’s recognize. We fall short all day every day, and we must pray and jump back up and in. Hallelujah! I guess we all can agree in the fact that having the answer for a question like: Who am I? It's usually difficult.
I'm 23 years old and I'm trying to know... There are some things I know about myself but there are some others I don't know and God is the only answer.
