Strange how 60 minutes doesn't mention any of the downsides to these offshore turbines. I wonder how they missed that.

All the people 60 minutes interviewed that were so pro wind energy are financially tied to it. Of course they love it.

They say nothing about the maintenance costs, and infrastructure building and maintenance costs. These turbines costs around 5 mil. dollars a pice plus installation and 45-50 thousand dollars basic maintenance per year if no complications, and they are well known for oil leaks.

Misleading title. Those turbines can theoretically help power up to 2 million homes daily. If the wind blows. Wind energy is unreliable and will always be unpredictable alas.

I just read an article about a fin whale that washed up on a beach in cornwall and they say they have no cause of death but the only explanation is that it died because of these abominations

Thousands of miles of strip mined copper cable underwater doesn't last long and is non renewable.
