The woman outed as the alleged 'Baby Reindeer' stalker said she felt 'used' in Piers Morgan interview, where he asked her if she loves Richard Gadd
A woman who was outed by "Baby Reindeer" fans as the alleged stalker of the true crime drama's creator and lead actor said she felt "used" by Piers Morgan in an interview about the Netflix series.
"Baby Reindeer" tells a fictionalized version of creator Richard Gadd's experiences with stalking, and has become a worldwide phenomenon since its release in April. That month, an unnamed woman who was outed on social media as "the real Martha Scott" told the Daily Mail she was considering taking legal action against Gadd and Netflix for the harassment she has faced as a result of viewers trying to track her down.
On Wednesday, Morgan revealed he had interviewed Fiona Harvey, believed to be the woman first interviewed by the Daily Mail. The interview will be released Thursday at 3pm ET on Morgan's YouTube channel, Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Real-life Martha Scott from Baby Reindeer sits down for tell-all Piers Morgan interview
The show has already sparked a backlash among viewers
The woman who allegedly inspired Richard Gadd’s hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer will give her first TV interview this Thursday (9 May).
In the series, comedian Richard Gadd plays a fictionalised version of himself who gets stalked by a lonely and mentally ill woman called Martha, whom he meets while working at a pub.
Following the series’ success curious fans have tried to discover the inspirations behind the show, which members of the cast have vehemently discouraged.
Scottish lawyer Fiona Harvey, 58, who has been labelled the ‘real Martha’ has received death threats from Baby Reindeer viewers and will speak on Piers Morgan Uncensored to “set the record straight after being unmasked by fans”.

‘STALKER’ UNMASKED ‘I’m very attractive and I’m a lawyer’, says ‘real Baby Reindeer stalker’ Fiona Harvey as she threatens Netflix
THE WOMAN thought to be the real-life stalker from Netflix smash Baby Reindeer is threatening to sue Netflix.
The gritty real-life drama was inspired by the ordeal suffered by Scots creator and leading man Richard Gadd, 34.
The harrowing tale follows barman Donny Dunn as his life falls apart at the hands of an obsessive stalker - played by Jessica Gunning, 38, - after he offers her a cup of tea in a London bar.
The deranged Baby Reindeer maniac bombarded the comic with more than 41,000 emails, 744 tweets, 100 pages of letters and 350 hours of voicemails over a four year reign of terror
Gadd claimed he went to great lengths to conceal the identity of the woman who stalked him in real life and has begged fans not to search for her.

She’s not going to sue because it’s all true. She really needs mental health help. She outed herself.

For someone who didn't watch the show she sure knew a lot of things that were in the show.

Netflix couldn’t delete her old tweets for her. I don’t think she’ll win if she goes through with it.

She’s probably stalking Piers as we speak.

She would be very unwise to sue, opens a whole can of worms! 🤨

I’m sure Netflix have had several legal professionals look at this prior to moving forward in this. She’s delusional.

So she’s suing for outing herself 🤦🏽‍♀️

I can't help but imagine that maybe Richard Gadd wrote the show because the police didn't do anything about it. Maybe in some way, him being picked up by Netflix could allow the full story to come out and he could get some closure in real life as well. He might have embellished some of it, but if it's going to trial then he might also have just caused his "stalker" to out herself.

I'd hate to think that in order to get any judiciary to look at a case like this that someone would have to write a whole drama about it though.

Keep in mind...her words, "they met maybe 3 or 4 times....maybe 5 or 6 times"...."we were all friends". Who tf is "we".

She’s not a lawyer. She has a degree, but didn’t work in law. In uk legal, you have to gain experience in the field to BE considered a lawyer.

& when she loses she’ll start harassing the attorney who was dumb enough to take her case.

Harvey out to go ahead and sue. That way we'll learn all about her life. Not sure she'll enjoy being outed as a pathological liar.

all her interview achieved was to confirm that she's still crazy. Imagine if she'd gone on to Piers show and said, ''i wasn't mentally well back then. I 'm so embarrassed now. I'm so sorry I harassed Richard. But I feel a lot clearer now. I've had a therapy since then, I've been in a psychiatric hospital I take medication now''.
EVEN IF SHE'D BEEN BULLSHITTING AND WAS STILL SECRETLY 100% WHACADOODLE, everybody would feel bad and back away drawning a line between ''back then'' and the 'here and now''.

According to the end credits on Netflix : 'This program is based on true events however, certain characters, names, incidents, locations and dialogue have been fictionalised for dramatic purposes'

She outed herself. A lawsuit could just prove she's a psycho in a court of law.

She was better to say nothing Even if people knew who she was they weren’t for sure until she confirmed it

I used to work in mental health and can say that its classic personality behaviour to use legal actions or company bullying policies etc to attack others and usually without merit. Its just another way of being aggressive towards others.

It’s outrageous that Netflix can make these allegations. I’d sue if they weren’t true.

Hmmmm, I don't know. Gadd claimed that she would barely recognize herself in the show and she's pretty recognizable. I would suspect she has a case and won't have trouble finding someone to represent her.
