Wow, Yungang cave was built by the Northern Wei dynasty. Northern Wei is founded by nomadic Xianbei people over almost 1700 years ago. They were the northern people who originated in Mongolia steppes, Siberia and Manchuria. Although they weren’t exactly Han Chinese at their ancient times, they were indeed one branch of the Chinese ancestors. It’s very moving to see how diverse and inclusive Chinese have been. I am happy that Xianbei are honored as the ancestors as the rest of the many many tribes and ethnic groups throughout China’s long long history that created a collective Chinese civilization, and to make China what it is, and the Chinese who they are.

India and China are friends. We should rise above petty politics. Guard against those selfish and parochial politicians that want to destroy the good faith between the Chinese and Indians.

It has been proven that in the past the two greatest Civilisations have so many cultural exchanges, why can't our present generation surface above the petty politics and work towards a brighter future together? I yearn for a day where India and China can surpass the past, innovate together, and co-create an Asian Development Path rather than an Anglo model that has its inherent flaws.
