I think you are mistaken, the mid-rear engine cars won't cause under steer it causes oversteer cause of the weight which drags the car away from turning point just as similar as centrifugal force...

Rear engine in a car doesn't make sense? Having the engine in the rear gives a huge advantage in displacement and center of gravity, weight distribution. This happened in f1 first

Well they do actually, when you accelerate, most of the force needs to be allocated toward the rear...hence the weight of the rear engine adds to this. When braking, most of the force goes toward the front and the rear engine helps the force distribute to a smooth balanced braking experience.

Rear engine cars have hammer like weight distribution.. They are very prone to oversteer and earlier 911's were known for this. They were called widow maker at that time.. But today electronics are so advance that they handle everything instead of driver..
