I work at a Porsche dealer as a tech and your boxster is probably the best condition boxster I’ve ever seen, I’ve never seen the optional wood shifter and e-brake, also the Porsche classic department just came out with an updated pcm upgrade for its single dim radios like your boxster, I’d highly recommend looking into it if you drive your boxster a lot!

Exactly like an 2004 peugeot 307 cc lol. You press the button and windows go down, that's a normal thing in cabrio

I helped a friend replace the AC condenser on his Boxster. Lots need to come off then go back but the fasteners were logical and accessible.

The first jumpstart left hima bit flummoxed, though.

All in all the Boxster was one of my favorites to ride in (he's had tons of cars over the years). It was my top favorite for running Carmel Valley Road, it was like a long, fun rollercoaster ride.

95% of the interior tech in a 2021 car has been around since the late 80s. It just gets fancy looking

Same with my 01 M3!
But my top latches itself in addition to automatically doing the windows 🤷‍♂️

We’ve also got a automatic tacometer red line that adjusts as the engine warms up to full power🤙

Granted, 333 horsepower isn’t much these day’s, still a lot of fun!

Things that just make sense in some cars continued:
98 camry (don't know about future versions, one I own. Immortal grandma <3)
When low on wiper fluid, it has a light to let you know. But wait, there's more. When it gets to that point it can suck down an entire gallon. No need to leave an opened bottle sitting around.

Headlights: Unlike newer cars, which many yell at you for leaving on when you get out with the engine off (e.g. 2017 jeep renegade) and leave the lights on, it automatically turns them off when you open the driver door with the engine off.

Dome light: has switch to control whether the interior light turns on when the door is open, always on, or always off. (Just gonna keep shitting on ya renegade :] )

I have the exact same car as you. Except for I have the tiptronic transmission meaning I can alternate from manual and automatic. Everything in this video absolutely makes sense from my perspective. Keep up the great work!

"Even though it's 20 years old it still has automatic AC" Yea my parent's cheap ass Audi 80 that was produced in the 90's has automatic AC as well lol

Always wanted a budget porsche, but I'd imagine my porsche mechanic will charge me like it's a 2021 porsche 😂

Porsche does not put the ignition switch on the left on all models. My 968 has it on the right.

Porsche did not put the ignition on the left on street cars because of lemans, and on right hand drive car is on the right.
