I totally get it! After the same reaction for the past 2 years to anyone who was interested, I THINK I'm ready now...LOL
I noticed after I told a friend yesterday how I'm excited about an upcoming date & that "I hope I like him". I realized later that I have graduated from "I hope he likes me"... And I'm proud of myself for that!!💕🙏🏻💕

What I found is when you truly connect, the door will open. My boyfriend said he was absolutely not ready for a relationship. So we still stayed friends and saw each other every day. But I made it clear that that’s all things could be if he was not able to have a relationship. Eventually he wanted a relationship. So, in my experience, yes, men can change their minds. But not if you’re trying be the best girlfriend in the world and having sex and giving and giving. In a man’s mind, then you’re ok with not being in a real relationship- because he said he didn’t want one, and you gave him everything anyway. Now, if he says this and you don’t give him everything, and he still doesn’t make a move- it’s not likely he will change. My guy and I have been together and happy. It can still work out. Just know your worth.

Well im glad i found this it also makes alot of sense bc he told me alot about his 4 awful relationships he just kept sending me mixed signals and i just went ahead and confessed but then said hes not ready etc he wants to stay friends
it did hurt but i accepted it besides hes my bassist after all cant have the band breaking up bc of such thing
